Our vision

Finding the right ski instructor is often more personal than it appears. Skiers do not simply need someone available on a certain day — they often need someone whose teaching style, experience, language and specialty match their real needs.

At the same time, instructors often offer much more value than what appears on a traditional ski school list. Certifications, specialties, terrain experience, communication style and personality all influence the quality of the lesson.

SkiProConnect aims to make these strengths more visible, helping skiers make more confident decisions while supporting instructors in presenting their real professional profile.

What matters for skiers and snowboarders

Progression and confidence often depend on finding the right teaching match. Different instructors have different strengths, communication styles and technical approaches.

Some clients look for confidence building, others for technical progression, advanced terrain coaching, moguls, powder skiing, race preparation or children lessons. The best experience happens when the instructor profile helps clarify these differences.

SkiProConnect helps clients understand instructor strengths more clearly, so the lesson experience can start with better expectations.

Many instructors develop strong specialties over time: teaching beginners, technical carving, moguls, powder skiing, coaching young athletes or working with nervous clients.

Traditional listings often reduce instructors to availability and certification level, without showing the full range of experience and strengths developed across seasons.

SkiProConnect helps instructors present their background, specialties and teaching approach more clearly, improving visibility and helping attract clients who are a better fit.

Why the project paused

The original version of SkiProConnect was launched at a time when the market was not yet fully ready for this kind of platform. Digital adoption, online profile culture and instructor visibility tools were still limited compared to today.

Rather than forcing growth too early, the project was paused. Since then, both instructors and clients have become far more comfortable with digital profiles, personal visibility, reviews and specialized search experiences.

Today, the timing is better aligned with the original vision. SkiProConnect returns with a clearer structure and stronger tools to support better discovery, better communication and a better overall lesson experience.

SkiProConnect was created by RikkiBobby, a Canadian ski instructor whose experience across different mountains and teaching cultures helped shape the original idea behind the platform.

The platform was created to better represent this professional diversity and help clients better understand what makes each instructor unique.
